As 2014 comes to a close, and we are organizing the shelves in our warehouse and office, we have gathered together the remaining few box sets we previously held back last spring... you know, just in case. Sure, we could sell them on Ebay for a pretty profit at $200 or $300 each, but that's just not right. So, we are making the box set available in our web store at it's original price of $150 for a short time until we have sold through the remaining, very few, box sets we have on our warehouse shelves. We even have a few T-shirts to go with them, so be sure to select the correct size for yourself.
Original Release Date: April 15, 2014 Your credit card will be charged when you place your order.
Prior to disbanding in 1990, Slint completed only one tour (in 1989), playing a small handful of shows over the eastern half of the USA in a 2 week time span. Prior to that tour, the band members themselves hand silk-screened 45 t-shirts in Todd’s parent’s garage in Louisville, KY. All 45 were sold on during the 1989 tour. More than 20 years later, in the midst of digging through boxes of photos and flyers in various basements and garages, the original silk-screen used to print the 1989 tour t-shirts was unearthed in near perfect condition.
From now until March 8th, all Touch and Go Records website pre-orders for the Spiderland Box Set will receive an exact replica of this 1989 Slint tour t-shirt... for FREE! Using the original 1989 silk screen, we have created a new screen from which we will print only enough T-shirts to send to those of you who pre-order the Spiderland Box Set by March 8, 2014. We will be printing pocket tees with “Slint” and the Slint logo printed on the pocket, and "Fust... The Wish Of Many, The Milk Of Few" on the back – the t-shirts will be as close to the original 1989 version as possible.
Please be sure to select your desired t-shirt size when placing your pre-order for the Spiderland Box Set. Once March 8th is over, your chance to wear Slint history will have passed. There will be no extras for stragglers. We will not randomly “find” some 6 months from now. These shirts will not be offered for sale at any retail or online stores, nor on the Slint web site. This is it. We are printing these shirts to order... so order your Spiderland Box Set by March 8 to receive your free T-shirt.

FOR A LIMITED TIME: The 104-page book inside of all Spiderland Box Sets that are pre-ordered from the Touch and Go Records website will be signed by all four of the Slint members who performed on the album. As proof, we present the below post-signing photo, taken after a long day confined to a room together with the boxes of books (see background of photo) and a case of black pens. From left to right: sleepy David Pajo (guitars), slap-happy Todd Brashear (bass), and delirious Britt Walford (drums, vocals) - photography credit: giddy Brian McMahan (guitars, vocals).
*** There are a limited number of books autographed by the band. We couldn’t keep them in that room long enough to sign all of them. These signed box sets are ONLY available with pre-orders from the Touch and Go Records website. Once we sell through the signed copies, this little bit of informational text will be removed and subsequent order will not receive signed copies. ****
